Admissions Information
The admission calendar for Grenoble Alpes will be available in September. Applications for international students are usually open from November to January of the academic year — i.e., at the end of January 2026.
If you wish to apply to one of the programs and applications are not yet open by mid-February, UGA will provide Lafayette candidates with the opportunity to apply in advance.

Reminder: The awarding of the Lafayette Fellowship is conditional upon admission to one of the eligible partner institutions. Applicants must complete both the Lafayette Fellowship application and apply to at least one program at one of the partner institutions.
Campus Life
Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) offers a comprehensive welcome and support system tailored for international students. The International Students & Scholars Office (ISSO) assists newcomers throughout their stay, handling practical matters such as accommodation, visas, residence permits, health insurance, banking, and housing allowances. At the start of each semester, orientation and integration events — including webinars and in-person info sessions in Grenoble and Valence — are organized to support arrival and settling in UGA. UGA’s international reception quality has been officially recognized with the « Bienvenue en France » certification.
