Eligible programs for Lafayette Fellows include all Master’s programs offered by the Faculty of Arts, Language, Literature and Humanities, as well as all Master’s programs from the Faculty of Science & Engineering.
The course offerings for the 2026-27 academic year will be published online in the Fall semester.

Admissions Information
The application process for Master’s programs begins in October and follows the « Études en France » calendar.

Reminder: The awarding of the Lafayette Fellowship is conditional upon admission to one of the eligible partner institutions. Applicants must complete both the Lafayette Fellowship application and apply to at least one program at one of the partner institutions.

Sorbonne University offers robust support tailored to international students. Guidance includes assistance with visa applications and residence permit renewals, support for grants and financial aid, and referrals to relevant university services through the International Welcome Desk, located in the Student Hub (Maison de la Vie Étudiante) on the Pierre et Marie Curie campus at Sorbonne University.

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities operates across 13 distinct sites —including the iconic Sorbonne campus situated in the vibrant Latin Quarter, surrounded by landmarks such as the Collège de France, the Odéon theatre, the Panthéon, and the Luxembourg Garden. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Science & Engineering is primarily located at the Pierre et Marie Curie campus (Jussieu), at 4 place Jussieu in the 5th arrondissement, a well-known scientific and engineering hub in the heart of the city.
