Sciences Po Lille is a prestigious higher education institution located in the city of Lille, in northern France, a territory with a rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as one of the most attractive regions for economic and industrial projects in Europe. Established in 1991, it offers a multidisciplinary curriculum combining political science, law, economics, history and international relations to 2,000 students. The institution emphasizes critical thinking, analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of contemporary global and European issues.

Sciences Po Lille prepares students for careers in public administration, diplomacy, journalism, business and international affairs. Students benefit from a vibrant campus life (30+ student associations and clubs) and strong connections with professional networks. The institution is part of the national Réseau ScPo and an affiliated institute of the University of Lille which provide additional services to the students.

Admissions Information

The online application for the Master Multilateralism and Transnational Governance opens in December 2026. Applicants for the fellowship must apply before January 16, 2027 via Sciences Po Lille’s application site. Online admission interviews will take place in February and candidates will be notified of admission results by the beginning of March 2027.

Candidates must submit two separate applications: One for the Lafayette Fellowship and the other for the Master’s Programme in Multilateralism and Transnational Governance via Sciences Po Lille’s application site. Be aware that Sciences Po Lille will launch their new website in early September — please check the details on the program and the application process once it has been published.

Reminder: The awarding of the Lafayette Fellowship is conditional upon admission to one of the eligible partner institutions. Applicants must complete both the Lafayette Fellowship application and apply to one program at one of the partner institutions.
